The house is filled with the delicious aroma of cinnamon and clove burning, Christmas puddings made and ready for the big day. Presents all wrapped and under the tree. Looking forward to sitting by the blazing open fire with a glass of mulled wine. There is a chill in the air, but snow seems to be staying at bay so far. Last blooms are only fading now but bulbs already peeking their heads above the soil and the swans gliding peacefully down on Lough Rynn. We look forward to welcoming you to our home this Christmas and wish all our customers and friends a very happy Christmas and New Year.

After the long and cold winter, the herbaceous border is finally coming alive with Aliums, Solomon Seal, Peony Roses, Geraniums and of course the old reliable Lady’s Mantle. The Wisteria is also in full bloom with its purple blossoms laden down like grape vines. The Whitethorn and Chestnut tree are also bursting with colour as you approach the drive to the house. Why not come along for a look, have a browse at our current range of antiques, paintings and jewellery and enjoy a lovely cup of complimentary tea or coffee on the lawn with Dara’s popular banana bread, brownies or scones.
