After the long and cold winter, the herbaceous border is finally coming alive with Aliums, Solomon Seal, Peony Roses, Geraniums and of course the old reliable Lady’s Mantle. The Wisteria is also in full bloom with its purple blossoms laden down like grape vines. The Whitethorn and Chestnut tree are also bursting with colour as you approach the drive to the house.
